The Association has been implementing rehabilitation programs for visually impaired students and other persons with disability even outside the valley by extending its branches in following districts.

These district offices have formally been implementing rehabilitation programs in the respective districts.
Sunsari Branch: Founding president of Nepal Association for the Welfare of the Blind, Lare Dr. Laxmi Narayan Prasad formed a 9 member ad-hoc committee in the chairmanship of Mr. Shyam Govinda Shrestha on 2046/06/18 and Mrs. Sarala Kayastha was appointed as Advisor of the committee. By a new election of 2068/01/9, currently a new working committee has been formed under the chairmanship of Mr. Hira Udas in this Sunsari branch. Various rehabilitation programs were implemented since 2046 B.S by Purbanchal Community Service Centre for visually impaired persons of Sunsari, Morang and Jhapa. These C.B.R. programs, implemented with financial and technical support of C.B.M, Germany, have already been phased out in 2058 B.S.
Rautahat Branch: Founding president of Nepal Association for the Welfare of the Blind, Lare Dr. Laxmi Narayan Prasad formed a 9 member ad-hoc committee of Rautahat branch in the chairmanship of Mr. Gajadhar Prasad on 2046/08/19. Community Based Rehabilitation Programs implemented in this district since 2046 B.S were financially supported by World Blind Union.
Kavre Branch: An 11 member district level ad-hoc committee of this branch was formed on 2048/06/21 under the chairmanship of Mr. Bel Prasad Shrestha. Currently this branch has a 9 member working committee under the chairmanship of Bel Prasad Shrestha, as elected by its third election. Rehabilitation programs in this district were implemented since 2045, but were phased out on 2053 B.S. Those programs were financially supported by Helen Keller International, USA. This branch is continuously processing for land acquisition since long back.
Baglung Branch: A 9 member district level ad-hoc working committee was formed in Baglung on 2050/02/6 under the chairmanship of Mr. Kul Prasad Shrestha.
Siraha Branch: District level working committee was first formed in Siraha on 2052 B.S and a 8 member ad-hoc committee was formed under the chairmanship of Mr. Lagalal Chaudhary. The third election of this branch held on 2068/01/11 has re-elected Mr. Laganlal Chaudhary as its president and a 9 member committee is working under his chairmanship.
Bara Branch: A 9 member Ad-hoc working committee of this district was formed on 2053/06/9 under the chairmanship of Mr. Deep Bikram Shah. First election of the district office held on 2053/06/2 elected Mr. Deep Bikram Shah as its chairman and has formed a 9 member ad-hoc committee. Another election held on 2066/12/31 has elected a 9 member working committee with Mr. Adayananda Pandey as its chairman and this committee has been working currently. Rehabilitation Program in this district was implemented since 2046 B.S. with financial support of Tokyo Helen Keller Association, Japan but was phased out in 2062 B.S. Though the rehabilitation program has been phased out, the branch office is still providing eye treatment services by co-ordinating with other clinics and Kedia Eye Hospital, Birjung. This branch has its own 2 storey building having 12 rooms and a meeting hall in Kaliaya Municapility. The building has been built in 6 Kattha land donated by local social worker Mr. Deep Bikram Shah.
Kaski Branch: Local Cooperation Committee in District Office, Kaski was formed in leadership of Mr. Tekan Singh Gurung in 2053 B.S. Mr. Krishna Bahadur Gurung was elected as chairman of the working committee by its second election along with other 9 members and currently this committee is in function. This branch has been implementing rehabilitation programs for visually impaired persons in Kaski district continuously since 2053 B.S. till now. Rehabilitation Programs in Kaski, Sangjya and Tanahu is being implemented with financial support of Visio, The Netherlands. This branch has its own two storey building having 20 rooms at Sarangkot VDC-9, Pokhara. Also this branch is capable of carrying out rehabilitation programs in a sustainable way even with its own internal resources.
Kaski branch office has been awarded with Laxmi Narayan disability Award in 2065 B.S for its outstanding rehabilitation programs provided to visually impaired persons of Kaski District. Also it has received felicitations for its service provided to persons with disability through C.B.R. Network. Two students from this district will be awarded scholarships for higher level education from fiscal year 2069/070.
Kailai Branch: Local Cooperation Committee of district office Kailai was formed in 2050 B.S. and has been working in rehabilitation of visually impaired persons in Kailai. On 2062/06/7, a 11 member working committee was formed under the chairmanship of Mr. Shiva Dutta Joshi. Whereas a 9 member working committee under the chairmanship of Mr. Dhirga Raj Joshi has been elected by the branch’s second and fourth elections.
Rehabilitation programs in Kailai District were implemented since 2054 B.S with financial support of Danish Association of the Blinds, Denmark and have been phased out in 2061 B.S. This branch has its own 2 storey building at Tikapur Municipality in 4 Kattha land donated by Tikapur Development Committee. Rehabilitation programs and its follow-up programs are regularly being conducted by this branch in association with Blinds Volunteer Forum and other persons with disability. This branch has been conducting special eye check-up and eye camp programs in support of National Society for Comprehensive Eye Care and Geta Eye Hospital. This branch has been recognized as the best organization providing services among other nongovernmental organizations working in Kailai by the Village Development Committee Council and has been felicitated for its outstanding services by the VDC Council and Geta Eye Hospital.
Dang Branch: A 21 member ad-hoc committee was formed in Dang district on 2048 B.S under the chairmanship of Bodhi Lal Yogi. And the election held in the year 2053 elected a 9 member ad-hoc committee as Mr. Ram Prasad Poudel as its Chairman. Rehabilitation program in this district was implemented with financial support of Canadian NGO.
